Getting your books
Delivery & Returns
Baranka Books sells digitally — ebooks and bespoke readings, delivered by download. Here's how your order reaches you, where to find our books in print, and what can be returned.
Digital delivery
Ebooks arrive as a download link, emailed the moment you check out for an in-stock title, or on release day for a pre-order, when we email you the link. Each link stays valid for 30 days — please download and keep your files somewhere safe.
Bespoke readings — the Celestial Codex — are made to order. After checkout you give the details the reading needs (for the Codex, your birth details), and your reading is written from them and delivered digitally, with the same 30-day download window.
Books in print
We don't sell or ship physical books ourselves. Where a title is out in paperback or hardcover, every store that carries it is linked from the book's page — for Brasa di Alma's Things I Tell Myself, for instance, in its “Other ways to read” panel. Those editions are sold, shipped, and returned by the retailer, under that retailer's own terms.
The Celestial Codex print and heirloom editions aren't on sale yet. You can register interest on the Celestial Codex page, and we'll write to you once when they're ready — with your digital purchase counted toward the print edition.
Returns & the right of withdrawal
Everything we sell directly is digital or made to order, and under EU consumer law both are exempt from the 14-day right of withdrawal:
- Ebooks are delivered as a download and can't be “unsent”; you agree to immediate delivery at checkout.
- Bespoke readings are personalised for one person from their own birth details, so they can't be resold. You confirm this at checkout before paying.
One exception. If a reading genuinely can't be cast from what you're able to give us — for example a volume built entirely on your exact birth hour, ordered without a birth time — we refund that part rather than deliver something unreliable. We tell you the amount up front, in your questionnaire and by email, before it happens.
If something's wrong with a download — a broken link, the wrong file — get in touch via the contact page and we'll put it right. For a book you bought in print from a retailer, that retailer's returns policy applies.
