The Maker
I read the way a biographer reads a life: slowly, generously, and on the evidence.
I was born in Willemstad, in Curaçao, and I live now in the Netherlands. I have been drawn to astrology and the occult since childhood, and I have read the old systems for decades.
There are, the old astrologers liked to say, twelve kinds of people. I have never believed it. You are not a sun sign and a paragraph — under one old system you are an entire sky, caught at the one moment you began; under another, a nine-fold pattern; under each, the same person, read anew. That is what I read: not to tell you what will happen, for I don't traffic in fortunes, but to hold up the most patient and precise mirror I know how to make, and to let you meet yourself in it.
I lead with the evidence, always: the number before the story, the fact before the meaning. Where a reading says something ordinary, I say so; where it says nothing, I say that too — an honest map discloses its empty quarters. What I will not do is tell your future. A reading inclines; it does not compel, and what you make of the portrait is yours alone to decide.
